When it became my livelihood, I had to find a new means by which to unwind. I discovered the Xbox and a game called Halo2. Woot! I loved playing. I loved interacting with other players globally in a team setting. I met my husband playing Halo2. How could I not love it?!

A few years later, I no longer play Halo2 and can’t quite get into Halo3 although I have given it my best effort. Instead I find myself gravitating toward platform games, such as Crash Bandicoot, and games for entertainment like Zuma and my current addition: Viva Pinata. Oooooooh, what pretty colors!

Well, I very recently acquired vintage flower looms and vintage raffia straw. I sat down to make some artificial straw flowers that would look a bit different than the ones already out there and, well, what does this have to do with my gaming habit? Hmmm, let’s see…
